The argument

9 days touring southern Romania by motorhome, mid-September 2020 - sequel to the August caravan trip but with different geography. 494 photos covering the Danube Gorges (Cazanele Dunării at Eșelnița + Dubova) + Banat-mountain villages + Lotru valley + Făgăraș foothills, ending at the familiar Predeluț hamlet in the Bran area. Two tracked hikes pin the photographic peak: a short Cazanele Mari cliffside walk above the Dubova bend on Sep 16, and a 17 km Cheile Nerei-Beușnței traverse out of Sasca Montană on Sep 17. Peak day on Thu Sep 17 with 156 photos, the same day as the long Nera-gorges walk. The interpretively significant geometry: the user closed the loop at Predeluț - the same hamlet visited in 2016 Oct, 2017 Aug, 2018 Jul, and 2019 Aug/Sep - making it the user’s most-returned-to RO coord with 5 visits in 4 years.

Cheile Nerei-Beușnței + Eftimie Murgu water mills + Băile Herculane (Roman thermal baths) - a 17 km Nera-gorges walk out of Sasca Montană sets the photographic pace, then the wooden water mills of Eftimie Murgu and the faded Roman spa town close the day.
